As promised here are some pics from our weekend away. This was a new show for us as it was the first time that the event had been staged and we had an excellent time. We did some activities for kids – knight’s training and joust and a short tournament. It was my first event with our new group Swords of Mercia and it went very well.

I was compering the fashion show and we had a real gap in our lineup for the c14th (If I’d known in advance I would have brought something of my own and persuaded someone to model it). I’m hoping Howard will let me have a go at it again next year because I really enjoyed it, so I may have to hound you
Hello Tanya No we were camping in plastic but had the small set up behind the little arena that I think you were in for the Fashion Show. Yes no problem for joining in that next year – we would love to – would you want lady’s oufit as we have different headresses etc – templars, crispinettes, torque etc plus sideless surcoats etc. Really enjoyed the event and looking forward to it next year.
